Against the background of a recent hacker attack on a number of websites of state structures of Ukraine, the country plans to conduct cybersecurity training.
This statement was made at a meeting of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center chaired by NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov on January 20.
As specified, the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov noted the importance of strengthening the coordination of the actions of entities that are engaged in ensuring the cybersecurity of the country and drew attention to the fact that the cyber protection of basic state registers needs to be strengthened.
– It is necessary to use the capabilities of the NCC and hold weekly meetings on its basis of a permanent working group created from specialists and experts to consider urgent issues of countering cyber threats, and approximately in 2-3 months – to ensure joint practical cyber studies, – the statement says.
Earlier, on the night of January 13-14, a hacker attack was carried out on Ukrainian government websites.
Gosspetssvyaz managed to find out that the program specified by Microsoft for the destruction of data with a high probability is a component of this cyberattack.
