Cuba recorded an anti-record for the number of cases of COVID-19

Cuba shows the maximum daily increase in cases of coronavirus. This was reported by the local Ministry of Health.

Over the past 24 hours, 1207 cases have been identified in the country. Of these, 563 cases were asymptomatic. Over the past day, a record number of patients have died since the beginning of the pandemic – 12 people.

For the entire time of the pandemic in Cuba, 97,967 cases were recorded, 559 people died.

Earlier in the United States, they found a strain of coronavirus that is resistant to antibodies. This variant is genetically related to the “British” strain. It was named BV-1. It was found in a man with mild symptoms.
