The head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, said that the peninsula is ready for large-scale cooperation with Belarus and the exchange of delegations. His words are reported by RIA Novosti.

Konstantinov noted that for its part the Crimean government is also ready to go to Minsk to establish cooperation. If the arrival of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko takes place on the eighth anniversary of the Crimean Spring, it will cause deep respect and interest, the head of the regional parliament said. “Alexander Lukashenko is a person who, unlike Yanukovych, showed how the head of state should behave in a difficult period for the country. Therefore, we will have something to talk about, ”said Konstantinov.

Earlier, Lukashenka called a condition for recognizing Crimea as part of Russia. He did not rule out that Belarus would recognize Crimea as Russian, and South Ossetia and Abkhazia as independent republics. The head of state noted that this will happen when he himself sees the need for this and Russian President Vladimir Putin informs him about it.
