A crime has been committed against Ukraine and we demand fair punishment – Zelensky at the UN General Assembly

President Zelensky said that Ukraine demands punishment for having captured our territory, thousands of people were killed, torture and humiliation were committed.

On the night of Thursday, September 22, during his speech at the session of the UN General Assembly, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that against Ukraine and Ukrainians a crime was committed.

This became known from a live broadcast conducted by the Voice of America publication.

“A crime has been committed against Ukraine and we demand fair punishment. It was a crime against our frontiers, against the lives of our people, a crime against their dignity, the dignity of our women and men,” the Ukrainian leader said.

According to President Zelensky, Russia must be punished for this crime.

“Ukraine demands punishment for capturing our territory, thousands of people were killed, torture and humiliation were committed. Punishment for the catastrophic provocations committed by this illegal war of Russia against us, Ukrainians, and against the whole world, against all peoples represented here in the hall of the UN General Assembly,” he stressed.

Recall, at a meeting of the UN General Assembly US President Joe Biden sentenced Russian dictator Vladimir Putin for nuclear threats to Ukraine and the world.
