Crew Dragon undocked from ISS and returns to Earth
The crewed spaceship Crew Dragon of the American company SpaceX separated from the International Space Station and began returning to Earth, according to the NASA website.
On board the spacecraft are astronauts from the United States Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker, as well as the Japanese Soichi Noguchi.
Undocking occurred in automatic mode. Crew Dragon is expected to splash down in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida. Recall that the crew of the Crew-1 mission arrived at the ISS in November 2020.
On April 17, Russian cosmonauts Sergei Ryzhikov and Sergei Kud-Sverchkov, as well as American astronaut Kathleen Rubins, returned to Earth aboard the Soyuz MS-17 spacecraft.
On April 26, another spacecraft, Crew Dragon, delivered two NASA astronauts to the ISS, as well as a French and Japanese astronauts. After the successful docking of the spacecraft, all four from its board went to the space station.
