Crew Dragon's crew evaluated the flight on the new spacecraft during a press conference from the International Space Station (ISS). RIA Novosti reports.
“It's amazing to be here, the launch was incredible. Very smooth flight! ” – said the commander of the ship Michael Hopkins. According to Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi, for whom this is his third flight into space, the launch on the new spacecraft was an interesting and enjoyable experience. He added that of the three ships he flew (the Russian Soyuz, the American Shuttle and the Crew Dragon), the latter is the best.
Space X's Crew Dragon with a crew on board launched to the ISS on November 17. The docking was carried out automatically to the Harmony module of the station's American segment at 07:00 Moscow time. There are three American astronauts on board: Commander Michael Hopkins, pilot Victor Glover and specialist Shannon Walker, and Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi. Their mission will last six months.
