“Crazy” heat: night weather anomalies await Muscovites June 23 was the hottest day in the history of meteorological observations in the capital.

The hydrometeorological center warned Muscovites about high night temperatures, which reached the average daily values. Such a weather phenomenon will be observed from Thursday to Friday – + 20-25 degrees is predicted. The high temperature simply does not allow the body to rest from the heat, forecasters say.

“It is clear that the human body will not be able to rest from this crazy heat of the day, because the temperatures are very high. In the center of Moscow, we predict a minimum temperature of + 23 … + 25 ° C, and then in the range from 4 hours to 5.30 in the morning, and before and after that the temperatures will be higher at night.

The temperature is so high due to the fact that the walls of high-rise buildings in the city center receive solar energy and release it at night, ”said Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.

He clarified that this heat puts pressure on Muscovites throughout the day, which can affect their health. The meteorologist also called “unthinkable” daily values of + 34 … +36 ° C. Nighttime + 20 … + 22 ° C are typical for daytime temperature marks in the fifth five-day period of June, writes Gazeta.ru.

Note that this year June 23 was the hottest day in the history of meteorological observations in Moscow. Due to the abnormal heat, an “orange” level of weather hazard was introduced.
