Quarantine for COVID-19 in Moscow schools and kindergartens has been canceled. This was announced by the operational headquarters for the control and monitoring of the situation with coronavirus in the capital in Telegram.
It is noted that full-time classes for school classes and kindergarten groups will resume on February 7 or 8 by the decision of the administration of the institution. “At the initiative of the parents of the class or group, the current quarantine may be extended to the previously prescribed period,” the statement says.
The operational staff added that now schoolchildren and kindergartens will be sent to quarantine if 20 percent or more of children in a class or group have been infected with coronavirus.
Earlier on February 5, it was reported that Russia updated the list of measures to combat coronavirus infection. In particular, the wearing of medical gloves was excluded from the list of recommendations. The corresponding resolution appeared on the Internet portal of legal information.
