Donald Trump
A court in the US state of Michigan denied the headquarters of the incumbent US President Donald Trump a request to suspend the counting of votes cast in the presidential election. RIA Novosti reports.
“This claim is rejected,” Judge Cynthia Stevens said during the hearing. Details are not provided.
Trump's headquarters filed a lawsuit to suspend the counting of votes in Michigan, explaining this by the lack of access to tracking the count.
Earlier, Trump said that he won a “big legal victory” in the state of Pennsylvania during the presidential elections. The American leader also said that in all states, in which his opponent, Democrat Joe Biden, claims to win, will be filed fraud lawsuits. Biden’s votes are suddenly found in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan, Trump said. Both candidates created special funds to fight for the purity of the electoral procedure.
In the United States, the counting of votes for candidates for the presidency of the country continues. The current head of state, Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden are fighting for the top post. On the day of the US general election, November 3, a vice president was also elected. In addition, 35 senators, the entire house of representatives, 13 governors and local government representatives are elected.
