In the village of Novy Merchik in the Kharkiv region, a fire broke out in a residential building. The owner of the house almost died during the fire.
According to the State Emergency Service, the flames engulfed the overlap of housing, so it could spread to a large area.
Rescuers found a 62-year-old owner of the house in one of the rooms, who could not move on her own. The soldiers of the State Emergency Service took the woman out into the fresh air, which saved her life.
The fire was localized almost 50 minutes after receiving the message about the fire, and liquidated – after more than an hour.
According to preliminary information, the flame broke out due to violation of the rules of the device and operation of furnace heating.

According to the State Emergency Service, 129 fires occurred on the territory of Ukraine during the day, in which three people were killed and two citizens were injured, but five were saved.
Since the beginning of the year, 2,630 fires in Ukraine have claimed the lives of 150 people, 97 more residents almost died. Firefighters were able to save 99 citizens who got into a dangerous situation.
