Russian volunteers are advancing deep into Russia.
The “Siberian Battalion” on the morning of March 17 announced liberation of the administration of the village of Gorkovsky, Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. Military expert Alexander Kovalenko explained why the capture of this settlement is important.

The expert notes that this information still requires confirmation and detail.
“Gorkovsky is located one and a half kilometers from the border with Ukraine and 2 rural roads and a railway pass through it. Unlike the main pressure through Kozinka in the direction of Grayvoron, Gorkovsky is a separate location that can allow the prospect of not only becoming a border bridgehead, but also a springboard to cutting 14K-4 (public highway of regional importance in the Belgorod region: Belgorod – Grayvoron – Kozinka – ed.),” he noted.
Kovalenko also added that if a new “gray zone” is formed here over the next few days or weeks, then the hint is more than clear.
