The launch from the Baikonur cosmodrome of the manned spacecraft Soyuz MS-19, on which the film crew of the first ever feature film in open space will travel to the ISS, will take place very soon, on October 5.

On the eve of this event, kp.ru columnist Alexander Milkus tells how the flight will take place and how the life of filmmakers in orbit will be arranged. For example, that cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky at the station will give up his cabin to actress Yulia Peresild.

The fact is that there are not many places in the Russian segment of the ISS, and there are only three cabins, and not long ago there were only two – the third, not yet inhabited, is located in the new laboratory module “Science”. And so they agreed on sleeping places in orbit: Oleg Novitsky gives up his cabin in the Zvezda module to Yulia Peresild, and he himself will spend the night in the utility compartment of his Soyuz MS-18 spacecraft, stretching out his sleeping bag. Petr Dubrov remains in his habitable cabin.

Director Klim Shipenko will spend the night in a brand new cabin in the “Science” module (or in Novitsky's cabin, and Peresild will go to “Science” – everything will be finally decided in orbit). And Anton Shkaplerov, until the Soyuz MS-18 departs, will spend the night in a sleeping bag in the utility compartment of the Soyuz MS-19. Then he will take the second cabin in the Zvezda module.

We will remind, earlier the site kp.ru wrote that the director Klim Shipenko and actress Yulia Peresild arrived at Baikonur to prepare for the flight to the ISS.
