Corpse on the road: near Kharkov looking for a driver who hit a pedestrian and disappeared

damage typical after an accident.

The deceased man was found on December 30 at about 20.50. His identity has already been established – this is a resident of the village of Pesochin born in 1980.

Now law enforcement officers are trying to identify the car and its driver, who knocked down a pedestrian and escaped from the accident scene, and are also looking for possible witnesses.

The police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code – violation of traffic safety rules or the operation of transport by persons driving vehicles.

The sanction of the article provides for from 3 to 8 years in prison with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to 3 years or without.
