Against the background of the spread of new variants of the coronavirus in the world, vaccination against COVID-19 is taking place. According to the Worldometer portal, since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic, the infection has been detected in almost 180 million inhabitants of the planet. In Moscow, over the past day, about 60 thousand people signed up for vaccination against coronavirus, which was a record figure. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin during an examination of a new clinic in the Koptevo district, noting that “until recently we were” falling “to about 6 thousand a day, that is, almost 10 times the difference in records.”
On June 6, the Moscow authorities introduced mandatory vaccination for workers in trade, services, education, healthcare, transport and a number of other areas.
