Coronavirus cases approach seven million in Brazil
6,970,034 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Brazil since the beginning of the pandemic, according to the country's Ministry of Health.
It is noted that in 24 hours the number of infections increased by 42,889. The total number of deaths was 182,799, 433 people died per day.
In total, more than six million sick people have recovered in the republic.
Earlier it was reported that Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who had previously been ill with COVID-19, refused to be vaccinated against coronavirus.
According to the latest WHO data, the number of people infected with coronavirus in the world over the past week has grown by more than 4.3 million, which is the highest figure since the beginning of the pandemic.
