As the first German Bundesliga club, the Berliners have to go into a team quarantine after four corona cases.
Hertha coach Pal Dardai also tested positive for Corona.
After a fourth corona case, all players and the Hertha BSC support staff have been in quarantine since Thursday. As the German Bundesliga team announced on Thursday evening, a corona test at Marvin Plattenhardt was positive during the day. Before the 29-year-old, head coach Pal Dardai, his assistant coach Admir Hamzagic and striker Dodi Lukebakio had contracted the Sars-CoV-2 virus and had to be isolated at home.

Because of the 14-day quarantine, three Bundesliga games are canceled. The German Football League (DFL) announced that the games at FSV Mainz 05, against SC Freiburg and FC Schalke 04 were canceled. The quarantine is absolutely the right step from a health point of view, said sports director Arne Friedrich.
“From a sporting point of view, that affects us of course, because we now have to play six Bundesliga games by the end of the season on May 22, 2021 in the fight to stay in the league,” he added. The former national player had previously headed the first training session as an interim coach. The team was to be isolated in a Berlin hotel by April 28th. You should only leave your quarters for training sessions and games.
