The Arbitration Court of the Amur Region has suspended work on the construction of the Angara launch complex at the Vostochny cosmodrome. This is reported by TASS, referring to the materials of the court.
According to the data, the court suspended the work of the production and construction association (PSO) “Kazan” for 90 days. The materials say that construction will be suspended due to violations of the construction procedure, which provides for part 3 of Article 9.5 of the Administrative Code of Russia (“Violation of the established procedure for construction, reconstruction, overhaul of a capital construction facility, its commissioning”).
The corresponding claim was earlier received by the court from the 119th department of the state architectural and construction supervision of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
The construction of the second stage of the Vostochny cosmodrome started in 2019. The first launch of Angara without a crew, for which a launch complex is being built, is scheduled for December 15, 2023.
At the end of summer 2020, it became known that another 19 billion rubles would be allocated for the development and testing of the Angara-A5 heavy rocket. Thus, funding for work on the rocket for the period up to 2026 will increase from 26 billion to 45 billion rubles.
