A 31-year-old man suspected of murdering a fellow countryman was arrested in Poland. The body of a 41-year-old Ukrainian with numerous injuries was found the day before.
The incident took place in the city of Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Lodz Voivodeship. The policemen who came to the call tried to resuscitate the victim, but the doctors had to ascertain the death of the man.
It is known that witnesses in the case are 10 people at once. Eight Ukrainians and two Georgians confirmed that the man was the murderer is a 31-year-old citizen of Ukraine.
That evening a conflict arose between the men, which quickly escalated into a fight. The attacker brutally beat his neighbor with his fists and kicks, after which he struck several blows in the face with a metal basket.
Realizing what he had done, the 31-year-old man fled the scene of the murder. Subsequently, he was found in the town of Szymanowka (about 175 km from Tomaszow-Mazowiecki).
What threatens the detainee
During the interrogation, the 31-year-old Ukrainian confessed to the murder of his fellow countryman. It is also known that the previously suspect already had problems with the law in Poland.
On December 13, the man received a notification of suspicion, and the very next day, according to the court's decision, he was arrested for 90 days. For the committed man could face life imprisonment.
