Every second Austrian prefers to work in the office than in the home office. Only one in four can imagine working from home for a long time.
Only every fourth employee in Austria wants to work exclusively in the home office, shows a current study by the Gallup Institute. “There is no human interaction in the team,” explains Andrea Fronaschütz from Gallup. Every second person prefers the office. However, 79 percent of employees would like more flexible working hours. The mixture of home office and office is also well received by 55 percent. Around 42 percent already worked from home.
The surprise: three quarters of those surveyed (77 percent) feel that they are fairly paid and are very satisfied with their employer.
