The Russians are silent about the number of victims and the true consequences.
Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Defense Forces officer Lieutenant Andrei Kovalenko commented on the collapse of a high-rise building in Belgorod Russian Federation.
“The house in Belgorod appears to have been blown up. The video from the cameras does not show any falling objects, so all the Russian accusations of shelling by the Defense Forces are untrue,” said Andrei Kovalenko.
According to him, this incident is quite similar to a provocation of Russia.
“Or an information provocation to inflate the situation to justify further attacks on residential buildings in Ukrainian cities. It could also be a domestic explosion, which Russian propaganda is now twisting into shelling of houses in its own interests,” noted the head of the National Security and Defense Council Center for Intellectual Property.
Recall that in Belgorod on Sunday, May 12, the entrance to a residential high-rise building collapsed. Currently, a missile danger has been declared in the city, and air defense operations have also been reported. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation stated that there are dead and injured on the spot, but their number is still unknown.
Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that the city “was subjected to massive shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.” He claims that the entrance collapsed “as a result of a direct hit from a shell.”
