The Russian Federation stated that the collapse of a section of high-rise buildings in Belgorod was the result of an unsuccessful repulse of a Ukrainian missile attack. However, this is far from the case.

“The detonation is clearly visible on the first floors. The power of the explosion is at least half a ton,” he noted.
The expert is convinced that the rocket debris could not penetrate all the floors of the high-rise building and explode on the first floor.
“Only a bomb could do this, for example, the concrete-piercing BETAB-500, which the Russians now use just as often as OFAB-500 with UMPC. In my opinion, everything points precisely to convergence of a defective BETAB-500 from a Su-34, which has already happened several times in Belgorod, but without such large-scale destruction,” the message added.

Recall that on May 12 in Belgorod the entrance to a 10-story residential building collapsed, resulting in deaths and injuries. Local authorities blamed the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country falsely stated that a high-rise building in Belgorod allegedly collapsed due to debris from a downed “Ukrainian Tochka missile” -U”.
