Their bodies were found three days later.
Two climbers were found dead in each other's arms in France.

The couple, who went missing on Saturday, September 7, were spotted by mountain rescuers from a helicopter on the afternoon of September 10.
Andrea Galimberti and Sara Stefanelli were at 4,600 m when they made a desperate call to the support team on the ground.
“We can't see anything, take us away, we risk freezing to death,” they said.
At the time, the temperature dropped to -15°C and the wind was blowing at about 150 km/h.
Search and rescue efforts began as soon as the weather improved.
Police said the chances of finding the couple alive were almost zero, but their families were not giving up hope given their considerable mountaineering experience. In particular, Galimberti has repeatedly climbed in the Alps.
They were found almost 70 hours after their last call.
The last GPS signal from their phones placed them at 4,500m on the Mur de la Côte, a steep icy slope leading to the summit of Mont Blanc in Chamonix.
They are believed to have died of hypothermia.
Their bodies were found hugging each other and they likely died while hugging each other for warmth, authorities said.
Galimberti, 53, was from Como and Stefanelli, 41, was from Genoa, both from Italy.
About 100 meters from their bodies were the bodies of two South Korean climbers. The pair also disappeared on Saturday.
It took police so long to find the missing climbers because the storm dumped at least 50 cm of fresh snow on the mountain. The snowfall buried all traces on the glacier.
In addition, the gendarmes could not explore the area on foot due to strong winds and unstable snow, which created the danger of avalanches.
Stefanelli's social media page reads: “Climb the mountains not so that the world can see you, but so that you can see the world.”
Recall that the first couple from Great Britain decided to end their lives in a “suicide capsule”, the death in which was recently canceled at the last minute. The couple will die in each other's arms.
