Roshydromet noted that the climate in Russia is warming at a faster rate than the average in the world. Over the past decade, the increase in temperature has doubled the global average.

Deputy Director of the Obukhov Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, head of the laboratory of climatology at the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Semyonov noted that if the situation does not change, then in 30 years in Moscow it will be as hot in summer as in Rostov-on-Don.

Average daytime temperatures will reach 28-30 degrees, and in winter it will be about zero: at night a small minus, days – a small plus.

– All this can happen already in the current century, literally in 30 years. Moreover, Rostov-on-Don is a thousand kilometers south of Moscow. So it is better to settle where there are water bodies, forests. It's always cooler there, – says Vladimir Semyonov in an interview with Life.ru.

Global warming affects not only the weather, but health. People with cardiovascular diseases are especially affected by high temperatures.

– If in the megalopolis the heat keeps at +29 degrees, then the asphalt heats up. This leads to an additional increase in the indicator. Still, it's one thing to feel hot for a resident of Cairo or Rio de Janeiro, but our body is used to other temperatures, the expert concluded.
