The film crew of the film “Challenge” was instructed to return to Earth. Sergei Malikhov, a specialist from the Energia rocket and space corporation, told director Klim Shipenko and actress Yulia Peresild during a communication session with the ISS how to act during landing, MK.RU reports.
On exhalation, the members of the “movie crew” need to tighten their waist and shoulder belts, and just before landing, to avoid injury, no hand movements should be made. When the descent capsule descends to a height of about 300 meters, you need to clench your teeth, fix your whole body and wait for the landing.
Peresild and Shipenko, accompanied by professional cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, will return to Earth on October 17. The landing is scheduled for 07:36 Moscow time in the steppe near the city of Zhezkazgan in Kazakhstan. According to forecasts, the weather is expected to be cloudless at this time.
Earlier on October 13, it was reported that the “cinema crew” under the leadership of cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky began training on returning from the ISS.
“Roskosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, together with space flight participants, conducts preparatory operations and training for the upcoming landing of the Yu.A. Gagarin (Soyuz MS-18) spacecraft,” a statement posted on the Roscosmos website says.
