According to the State Emergency Service, since the beginning of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, more than 2,000 Ukrainian civilians have already died.
– For more than 160 hours, Ukraine and the entire Ukrainian people have been holding the defense against the insidious and cynical attack of Russia and Belarus, and every hour is the lost lives of our children, women and defenders. During the seven days of the war, the department stressed.
They reported that during this time the Russian Federation destroyed hundreds of objects of Ukrainian transport infrastructure, kindergartens, houses and hospitals.
– During this time, more than 2 thousand Ukrainians have already died, not counting our defenders, – the message says.
Rescuers stressed that today their main efforts are aimed at saving people. According to them, they managed to save the lives of 150 people, eliminate more than 400 fires that arose after the shelling of the Russians, and also evacuate more than 500 people.
The department reported that pyrotechnicians neutralized 416 explosive objects.
“During the performance of tasks, 10 rescuers were killed and 13 were injured,” the State Emergency Service added.
