New graffiti has been spotted in the UK, most likely by street artist Banksy. The Lowestoft authorities have already removed the corrugated iron sheet, which was part of the work, according to the Daily Mail.
Banksy's new work appeared in Nicholas Everitt Park in the English town of Lowestoft in Suffolk County. The graffiti depicts three children sitting in a boat, between which is the inscription “We're all in the same boat”. In this case, the vessel is made of corrugated iron sheet.
It is assumed that the authorship of the work belongs to Banksy. However, the artist has not yet confirmed these speculations either on his Instagram, or on the official website, or in any other way.
A day after the appearance of graffiti in Nicholas Everitt Park, local authorities removed part of the metal boat, because they feared flooding. According to the city administration, the structure has blocked the flow, and heavy precipitation is expected in the area. However, the boat is promised to be restored when the weather improves.
Previously, Banksy owns another graffiti found a few days ago near the former Lowestoft electrical goods store. The painting depicts a child trying to build something out of sand lying near a real wall. Banksy fans expect him to confirm the authorship of these works.
Previously, Banksy lost the rights to two of his works due to refusal to disclose their identity. This refers to two graffiti: “Rat with a radar” and “Girl with an umbrella.”
