The tradition of giving a Christmas tree to the British has already been 74 years old, so the Norwegians are grateful for their help during the Second World War.
Christmas tree scandal in Britain – Londoners again complain about the New Year tree donated by Norway.
This was reported on TSN.Rank 3 December.
It is noted that the festive tree was installed on Trafalgar Square – just a kilometer from Buckingham Palace. In social networks and in interviews ordinary Londoners are outraged by the sight of the Christmas tree – they consider its branches to be short, and the tree itself is called thin and ugly.
Londoners also criticized the Norwegian Christmas tree two years ago. Then the Ambassador of Norway stood up for this tree, who noticed – this is what a 90-year-old tree looks like in the wild.
The current tree will be decorated with Christmas lights today, and this will be one of the festive locations of the British capital.
