The possible participation of the European Union in Russia's negotiations with the US and NATO would have no added value. This was stated by Russia's Permanent Representative to the EU Vladimir Chizhov at an online briefing by the Foreign Ministry.

The Permanent Representative said that he considers it inappropriate for Brussels to participate in future negotiations. “[EU participation] has no definite added value,” Chizhov said.
