China notes that military exercises are a normal element of cooperation between the two countries
The other day in the neighboring Belarus Chinese army personnel arrived. Beijing stated that joint military exercises are taking place, which are not directed against any states.
This was stated by the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China Lin Jian, reports Ukrinform.
A representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry emphasized that these military exercises are a normal element of cooperation between the two countries in the military sphere.
“I would like to emphasize that the joint military exercises between China and Belarus are carried out in accordance with the annual cooperation plan between the two countries,” Lin said.
According to him, this is a common practice within the framework of military cooperation and exchanges between partner countries. And all maneuvers “comply with international law and are not directed against any third country.”
Recall that the monitoring channel “Belarusian Guyun” reported that Chinese military arrived in Belarus to take part in “general anti-terrorism training (training).” It will last from July 8 to July 19.
