Chinese authorities have identified 139 cases of coronavirus per day
The State Committee for Hygiene and Health of the People's Republic of China said that over the past day, 139 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the country, RT reports.
It is noted that a total of 956 asymptomatic carriers of the coronavirus are observed in the country.
Earlier, Chinese President Xi Jinping said that he had no doubts about the ability of humanity to defeat the coronavirus.
On December 31, 2020, it became known that a patient infected with the “British” strain of coronavirus was first identified in China. Earlier this year, it was reported that more than nine million people in the country received vaccinations against coronavirus infection.
