China.

The Chinese authorities will begin to actively promote ideological values in the IT space. For this, the country wants to create a so-called “civilized Internet”. According to the text of “Remarks on Strengthening the Construction of a Civilized Internet Space”, it is planned to strengthen the role of public accounts in social networks, websites and applications with communist themes.

According to the Chinese government, in order to build a “civilized Internet”, the state will strengthen the position of Marxism in the Internet space. This is intended to unite the party and the people, and should also strengthen the basic socialist values in the minds of the people.

The Chancellery of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Chancellery of the State Council of the PRC called on all government agencies to implement the adopted provisions in practice.

It was previously noted that China's regulators continue to increase pressure on social media and the tech sector. For example, the country has tightened supervision of restaurants that are actively promoting on the Internet. They are punished for reports of expired products.

Earlier, “Secret” wrote that the Chinese antitrust regulator published draft rules to prevent unfair competition on the Internet. Among other things, the document restricts the use of user data on the web.
