China resumes military activity near Taiwan following Secretary of State Blinken's departure from Beijing

Since 9:30 a.m. local time, 22 Chinese military aircraft were detected off Taiwan.

The day after after the end of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to China in Taiwan they announced the resumption of Chinese military activity near the island.

About this is reported by Reuters, reported by Ukrinform.

Taiwan's Defense Ministry said it had detected 22 Chinese military aircraft, including Su-30 fighter jets, since 9:30 a.m. local time, 12 of which had crossed the median line.

It once served as an unofficial border between the two sides, but is now regularly crossed by Chinese air forces. China says it does not recognize the line's existence.

Taiwan's defense ministry noted that the planes were participating in “joint alert patrols” with Chinese warships, adding that Taiwanese planes and ships responded “appropriately,” without providing other details.

The Chinese Ministry of Defense did not comment on this situation.

Taiwan's armed forces are well-equipped and well-trained, but inferior to China's, especially the navy and air force, which respond almost daily to Chinese missions, the publication adds.

Recall that it was previously reported that The Japanese are preparing for possible aggression from China.

In addition, we previously informed that Annual war games will be held in Taiwan, where scenarios of a Chinese attack on the island will be worked out.
