The Chinese mission has spoken out on a new US intelligence report on the source of COVID-19.
A message about this appeared on the official website of the Chinese diplomatic mission. Thus, Chinese diplomats criticized the report, calling it “fabricated by the American special services.” In addition, they said that the US intelligence guesses were not scientifically sound.
The Chinese side noted that American intelligence should not find out the origin of the coronavirus infection, since this is the task of scientists. The continuation of Washington's research on this issue, according to China, is ineffective, since the subject of study does not exist and is contrary to science.
Chinese diplomats strongly disagree that Beijing is preventing the United States from investigating the origins of the coronavirus.
Among other things, they noted that they will continue to independently research this issue, working in accordance with a scientific approach.
