Beijing categorically denies any arms supplies to the parties to the war in Ukraine.

China categorically denies that it supplied weapons to any side in the conflict in Ukraine.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said during a briefing on June 26, 2025, that NATO's accusations were “slander.”

According to Guo Jiakun, China's position on the war in Ukraine has always been consistent:

“China's objective and fair position and constructive role have been widely recognized by the international community, and NATO's disinformation cannot blind the eyes of the world,” the speaker stressed.

At the same time, Guo Jiakun refused to comment on Ukrainian media reports about the possible sending of 600 Chinese troops to Russia to gain combat experience.

We have previously reported that China has been providing military assistance to Russia by supplying critical weapons components such as drone parts and artillery ammunition, although it has avoided direct deliveries of finished ammunition to avoid international sanctions.

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, expressed concern about China’s increasingly deep involvement in the war that Russia is waging against Ukraine.
