The statement by the Chinese diplomats was connected with the visit to the island country of the US national security adviser Robert O'Brien. In particular, he “tried to sow discord between China and the Philippines” and expressed his point of view on internal Chinese affairs.
“The visit was not aimed at promoting regional peace and stability, but at creating chaos in the region for selfish purposes and in the interests of the United States,” the message says. It is noted that the United States has decided to assume the right to be a judge, in particular in the dispute in the South China Sea between China and the Philippines. At the same time, Washington is appealing to the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, to which he himself refused to join. In addition, Beijing recalled that both Taiwan and Hong Kong are integral parts of China from the point of view of international law.
Earlier it was reported that a new blow to the economy of the PRC could be inflicted on the United States through the creation of an informal alliance of Western countries. It will be aimed at jointly countering economic pressure from Beijing. According to the plan, if China prohibits imports from one country, then others buy its goods or compensate for the losses.
