Chile will ease quarantine due to drop in COVID-19 incidence
Chilean authorities are easing quarantine restrictions in connection with a decrease in the incidence of covid amid high rates of vaccination, reports TASS, citing the South American country's Ministry of Health.
It is noted that 11.58 million people have already been vaccinated with two doses of vaccine against coronavirus infection in the country, which is 76.21% of the population in need of vaccination. In total, about 19 million people live in Chile.
