Child mode has been added to the built-in Windows browser

by alex

Microsoft has introduced a new kiddie mode for the proprietary Edge browser. Thanks to him, children can safely use the Internet.

The new option is free and built into Microsoft Edge. When the mode is activated, children will be able to see only sites approved by parents or those resources that have been selected by Microsoft itself. They can be adjusted according to the age of the child. Edge currently has two options: 5-8 years old and 9-12 years old. In the second case, the browser offers more interesting articles and news for children on topics such as animals, science and fun facts.

Parents can choose child mode by clicking on the special profile icon in the upper right corner of the browser window. Kids Mode also changes the interface of the program, making it brighter. Children will not be able to accidentally change the mode, since for this they need to enter their parents' account information.
