The head coach of the Hungarian “Ferencvaros” Stanislav Cherchesov appreciated the innovations in the Russian national team under Valery Karpin. This is reported by “Championship.com”.
The specialist reacted to the ban on sugar, noting that with him the doctor and the chef did not spoon it into food. “If we start our trip to the World Cup with a discussion of sugar – whether we eat it or not, then this is the road to nowhere. The coach also stressed that he personally does not consider it correct to practice appointing a new captain for each match of the national team. Cherchesov recalled that he had permanent owners of the captain's armband.
Karpin spoke about the ban on sugar consumption in the Russian national team on August 29. The coach stated that the product does not provide anything useful to the footballers. Cherchesov worked in the Russian national team before Karpin for five years. The reshuffle took place at the end of July.
