Cherchesov named the footballer of the year in Russia

The head coach of the Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov named the best football player in the country at the end of the year. It is reported by “Sport-Express”.

The specialist, having taken part in the voting for the winner of the prize according to the newspaper, put CSKA goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev in first place. In addition to the goalkeeper, the top five included Artem Dziuba (Zenit), Fedor Kudryashov (Antalyaspor, Turkey), Georgy Dzhikia, Roman Zobnin (both – Spartak).
