~6 0~p>The Ministry of Culture of Chechnya has introduced restrictions on the music that can be publicly performed or reproduced.

In the Republic of Chechnya, which is a subject of the Russian Federation , all musical, vocal and choreographic works must follow a rhythm of 80 to 116 beats per minute. According to the local Ministry of Culture and Ramzan Kadyrov personally, only such a rhythm corresponds to the Chechen mentality.

As the “Caucasian Knot” reports, this was stated during an extended meeting by the Minister of Culture of the Republic Musa Dadaev.

According to him, a “final decision” has been made on this issue, agreed upon with the Chairman of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.

Musical works intended for performance in Chechnya , the local Ministry of Culture ordered to re-record at the approved pace before June 1. Otherwise they will not be allowed for public performance.

“We must bring to the people and to the future of our children the cultural heritage of the Chechen people: customs, traditions, our adats, nokhchalla – features of the Chechen character, which include the entire spectrum of moral, moral and ethical standards of life of the Chechens” , said the chief Chechen cultural official.

The tempo of 80 beats per minute is a relatively slow composition. For example, at approximately the same tempo (82 beats) the song “I won’t give up without a fight” by the group “Okean Elzy” sounds.

Most musical works in the style of trance (130-160), techno (120-150), samba (50-52), rumba (25-27) do not fall into the narrow corridor of 80-116 beats per minute. and waltz (28-30). .

Recall that the previously scandalous head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, threatened to fire his subordinates whose children do not know the Chechen language.
