This recently happened in the Tatras, where tourists, having turned to the popular ChatGTP, chose a very dangerous route at this time of year from the Valley of Five Polish Ponds to Chala Gąsienicewa,” the report says.
The neural network offered tourists the shortest route through the Krzyżne Pass.
“It is also worth adding that the conditions that day were really difficult. Fortunately, rescuers managed to take the tourists out of the famous pass in time,” the article notes.
Mountain hiking experts noted that tourists were not injured miraculously, as unlimited trust in modern technology could have led to tragedy. Therefore, experts advise planning routes for mountain hikes using a regular map and knowledgeable guides.
Recall that in Australia, a tourist wandered in the mountains of New South Wales for two weeks. The guy separated from the tourist group to walk on his own. He survived thanks to two cereal bars, berries and water from streams.
