Champions League: Stöger in the play-off, Dragovic out

Peter Stöger, Aleks Dragovic

Trainer Peter Stöger is in the Champions League play-off with Ferencvaros Budapest. ÖFB legionnaire Aleks Dragovic left with a Red Star.

After the 2-0 home game everything looked like a clear thing for Stöger and the green and white Budapesters, but it was a tough fight with Slavia Prague. The Czechs managed the early 1-0 after half an hour, but Ferencvaros trembled the 2-1 overall promotion over time. In the last ten minutes, the Stöger-Kicker had to play undernumbered.

The Hungarians are in the play-off and can hope for the Champions League. For ÖFB defender Aleks Dragovic it will be the Europa League at most.

Red Star Belgrade lost 0-1 at Sheriff Tiraspol and had to give up after a 1-1 home game. Dragovic played through with the Serbs, but could not prevent bankruptcy. Crvena Zvezda is now in the Europa League play-off.

The other games are currently still running, here with us there are updates in real time.

Sheriff Tiraspol – Red Star Belgrade 1: 0 (first leg 1: 1)
