An explosion occurred on the Nürburgring race track in Germany, injuring 22 people.
This was reported by Süddeutsche Zeitung.
Of all the victims, four were seriously injured. After the explosion, four rescue helicopters and several ambulances arrived at the scene. The police closed the section of the track where the incident occurred and the surrounding areas.
Despite the event, the ADAC Ruhr-Pokal race will continue on Saturday as planned.
Recall that in Germany, a 19-year-old Ukrainian man who was driving a van with Polish license plates died in a traffic accident.
