Skier Bolshunov won silver in the mass start of the Tour de Ski, won by the Norwegian Klebo

Russian skier Alexander Bolshunov won a silver medal in the 15 km freestyle mass start as part of the second stage of the Tour de Ski race in Oberstdorf, Germany. The results are available on the website of the International Ski Federation (FIS).
The winner of the race was the Norwegian skier Johannes Klebo. He covered the distance in 32 minutes and 26.4 seconds. The Russian finished second, 13.4 seconds away. Norwegian Shur Rete finished third, four seconds back.
Another Russian finished in the top ten. Ivan Yakimushkin took tenth place.
On December 29, Bolshunov also won silver in the classic 15 km time trial as part of the first stage of the Tour de Ski race in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. Finnish skier Iivo Niskanen became the winner of the race.
