Investigators in the case of the crash of the “Malaysian Boeing” in the skies over Donbass in 2014 spent six years studying the audio recording, which allegedly captured the voice of one of the accused, PolitRussia reports. Recently it became known that his voice is not there.
We are talking about Oleg Pulatov, lieutenant colonel of the Russian Airborne Forces, who was named one of the likely culprits of the disaster. At the February 1 hearing in the Netherlands, his lawyer Sabina ten Dusshatte noted that one of the 15 recordings, which are the main evidence of the Russian's guilt, does not contain his vote at all. The evidence was filed six years ago, and only now the inaccuracy has been revealed.
The situation was commented on by the Dutch journalist Eric van de Beck, who stressed that law enforcement officers “wasted six years” studying this issue. He also noted that 18 containers with airliner wreckage are stored in the Dutch city of Sousteberg, which for some unknown reason were not described and used in the reconstruction of the plane crash, despite the fact that they have obvious signs of damage. The journalist suggested that the evidence was deliberately concealed so that the truth about the tragedy would not become known.
Boeing, performing the flight “Amsterdam – Kuala Lumpur”, as Rambler reported, was shot down in the skies over Donbass in 2014. As a result, 298 people died. Currently, in the Hague court, the accused in the case of the catastrophe are Russians Igor Girkin, Sergey Dubinsky, Oleg Pulatov, as well as Ukrainian Leonid Kharchenko. According to investigators, the Buk anti-aircraft missile system, which was in service with the 53rd Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade of the RF Armed Forces from Kursk, was used to strike Boeing. Russian servicemen claim that the shot was fired from the territory of the controlled Ukrainian army.
