Before a heart attack, a person develops ventricular tachycardia. She was described by a cardiologist, Candidate of Medical Sciences Natalya Khorkova, according to “Doctor Peter”.

According to her, this type of tachycardia is accompanied by chest pain, dizziness, fainting, severe shortness of breath and weakness. “This category [of people with tachycardia] may require implantation of a defibrillator device in the subclavian region,” the doctor said.

She explained that ventricular tachycardia develops in the presence of myocardial infarction, valvular heart disease, and heart failure. Tachycardia can also become a separate disease if it occurs suddenly, accompanied by dizziness.

Rapid heartbeat may indicate diseases of the thyroid gland and internal organs – a person's pulse stabilizes only after their treatment.

Earlier, doctor Andrei Syrov named a way to determine a heart attack. According to him, its symptoms can be prolonged pain in the heart. Pain during exercise is also a symptom of malaise, he added.
