Cannes Film Festival has been moved from spring to summer. This was announced by the organizers of the event on the official Twitter page.
The festival was originally scheduled for May 11-22. It will now run from Tuesday 6 July to Saturday 17 July 2021.
“As we already reported last fall, the Cannes Film Festival did not rule out the possibility of changing its date depending on the development of the sanitary situation in the world,” the organizers said.
As a reminder, in 2020, the Cannes Film Festival was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
