Android and iOS smartphones supplanted push-button devices about 10 years ago. But despite this, today there are still manufacturers who produce just such simple phones and they are even popular.
Google has also taken the initiative to bring Android to push-button devices. As it turned out, Nokia even had such a prototype operating under the control of a “green” robot – Nokia 400. Over time, however, Google seemed to lose interest in the idea it had proposed.
Fortunately for us, the once legendary Finnish company still produced a number of test Nokia 400s. One of these phones even appeared on the video, writes SlashGear.
Judging by the video, one of the important elements of interaction with the device was to be the voice assistant Google Assistant. At the same time, in the “Settings” menu, we can see that the phone was running Android 8.1 Oreo.
You can also see there that the device had only 512 MB of RAM. That was how much it took for Android Oreo Go Edition to launch.
