Citizens of Ukraine who intend to travel abroad no longer need a Green Card insurance policy. This applies to countries such as Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldova.
– Such agreements were reached during the working meetings of representatives of the National Bank as the regulator of the insurance market, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and government agencies of Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. Today, this decision was also supported by Moldova.
The decision to cross the border without a policy is due to the introduction of martial law in Ukraine.
Recall that the Green Card is an international agreement on “car citizenship”. This type of insurance is mandatory for all vehicles leaving the territory of Ukraine. The Green Card policy is valid abroad, on the territory of the member countries of the Green Card system.
In addition, according to the information of the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine, Polish insurers will issue a civil liability policy for Ukrainians free of charge for a period of 30 days.

Cars of drivers using the OP lane will automatically be considered as vehicles of sabotage and reconnaissance groups. According to the KSCA, the restrictions apply to all cars, except for specialized ones.
