Analytical company Canalys presented data on the state of the market for wearable devices for the second quarter in the world and in Russia (available in the editorial office). According to the researchers, the world leader in the market for such devices is the Xiaomi corporation with a 20% share and an increase of 3% compared to the same period last year. The second place is occupied by Apple with a market share of 19% and growth of 29%. The top three is closed by Huawei with 9% of the market and a drop of 54%. Fitbit (7% of the market with an increase of 21%) and Samsung (6% of the market with an increase of 114%) also entered the top five world leaders.
In Russia, Xiaomi continues to dominate with a market share of 40% and growth of 135%. The market share of the second-largest company in Russia, Apple, is 15% with a growth of 68%. Huami ranks third in Russia with a market share of 6% and an increase of 79%. The top five market leaders also include Samsung with a 6% market share and Honor with a 5% market share.
